Contact Outsiders Outsiders is a social, peer support and dating club, run by and for socially and physically disabled people. Our members have a wide range of impairments, including visual and hearing impairment. They tell us only other disabled people really understand them, so make the best partners. All new members are vetted by experienced volunteers. We are thus very different to other dating sites and all profiles are genuine. We are a run as a respectful and very personal international private club.

So, this year, we thought it was time to celebrate awesome and powerful female disabled celebrities, all making a difference to how disability is portrayed in the media. There is a great deal of ongoing discussion and debate around the inclusion and representation of disabled people within the media. Put simply, there is not enough diversity. However, we are seeing the emergence of more and more disabled people on our television screens and in the public eye.
